Inspiration for this Monday morning

How was your weekend? Mine was filled with much needed time at home with the husband and Tilley-Gray, planting flowers, making dinners, and watching a few movies. Saturday I went to the most adorable baby shower and then Sunday we had a big play date on the beach. It was a great weekend!

My love of stripes continues with this gorgeous courtyard.

Have you seen the Horchow online magazine? It's full of eye candy!

So many good things about this kitchen, including the unexpected red lantern.

MOR beauty products might be just as good as macaroons.

This straw hat could cover me and Tilley-Gray this summer. There is no such thing as too big of a straw hat!

Tibi is so on point this season. I love this backless maxi dress.

Happy Monday!

Day 17 of Things I Love: Stripes

My love affair with stripes can be borderline obsessive. I have to stop myself when shopping to not buy another striped shirt. You would think that when I was pregnant I would have stopped wearing horizontal stripes. Clearly, I didn't follow that fashion rule. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess!

This Tibi jacket in particular gets my heart rate up. I would wear it with these pants, and these sweet shoes. And look who sported it during New York Fashion Week.

Some other favorite stripes?

Even my little loves stripes...

These are all on my wardrobe wish list. I just ordered the striped napkin rings from Diane von Furstenberg. Are they not gorgeous? (and on sale here!)

Stripes

Stripes are my very favorite pattern, and it is very apparant throughout my home and my closet. I don't NEED five black and white striped shirts, but I always gravitate towards those in the morning when I'm rushed to get ready. Here are some of my favorite striped walls and floors.

This horizontal stripe gives a lot of style to an otherwise boring room.

For such a tiny kitchen, a striped floor gives it big design

Striped window treatments are great as well. You can find inexpensive striped fabric here.

One of my favorites! Taking stripes to the ceiling makes this almost like a circus tent!

Ticking stripe wallpaper gives this room a manly feel

I LOVE this powder room! This would be so much fun to get ready in for a night out on the town!

Tonal horitzontal stripes are perfect for a little boy's room.

Horizontal striped walls and window treatments give a great layered effect

I LOVE this striped entryway, especially how they took the stripes onto the ceiling!
