  8. I'm loving everything! Congrats :) Can you also share where you found those chunky baskets under the island? Thank you!!! xx

    1. HI Whitney,
I collect baskets and scoop them up whenever I find them. I have the best luck at Home Goods and World Market. Thanks for reading! xx

  9. Beautiful space!! Love all the work you've done.

One quick question for you, though (and I don't mean for this to sound snarky at apologies in advance if it does), didn't you work with an interior designer for at least a portion of your home make-over? Does she get any sort of "shout-out" in the article?

    1. Hi Kelly,
Great question! When we first started designing the house, I purchased fabric/wallpaper/hardware through a friend of mine who was an interior designer because at the time, I did not have trade accounts set up with those companies. The design and selection of every aspect of my home was done by myself and my husband.
Thank you for your sweet comments and for reading!

    2. Thank you so much for replying! Definitely appreciate it, and thanks so much for clarifying her part in your home make-over. You have EXCELLENT taste...I'm even more impressed now that I know you and your husband did it all yourselves. Looks awesome!

    3. Thanks so much Kelly! We had a great time designing our home and are anxiously awaiting our second home to do the same! :)

  10. I've followed your blog for a long time and was so excited to see your adorable house! Do you mind sharing where the small piece of artwork by the front door is from?

    1. Hi Hannah!
I wish I knew! It was a wedding gift and is not signed anywhere on the piece. Thanks for reading! xx

  11. Wow, love your house, esp. the mixture of high end, everyday finds (i.e. Homegoods), and vintage. You are so talented!
    Thanks! Ashley (

    1. Hi Danika!
How exciting that you saw my blog! I have been such a fan of overlays and have used them in my home as well as a lot of the homes I have designed. I can't say enough great things about your business! I'm so happy that the nursery shot made it in the magazine! Looking forward to see what comes next from y'all!

  20. gorgeous feature Lindsey! I'm excited for you to be able to share more of your home on the blog now that the big glossy reveal is out!

  21. Loved your kitchen reno(the whole house actually...) and went straight out to pick up a magazine. Being 5 yrs into a whole house reno, I look through it whenever I need a pick me up to remind me how good things can be when it's all done!

  22. Hi Lindsey, I am such a fan of your blog and your work. I am MADLY in love with the cheddar silk drapes in your house and am having the hardest time trying to duplicate that color in my own home. Can you possibly send me a color-way option that you feel like most closely resembles the true color? Even if it's a picture of a lamp or random item... I just LOVE them so much, they make your space so happy and I would love to have drapes done for our family room just like them. THANK YOU so much!

  23. Hi! Can you tell me what color white you used on your walls? We just bought our first place and I am trying to find a white for all the fun colors I want to use. We have a pale gray sofa and pale gray just doesn't work!
