Loving this binocular necklace by Kate Spade. It's so cheeky and fits my life perfectly; many things coming up in the horizon!

Very Happy 9 Month News... and lots of updates
Where has the time gone?! I'm sorry I haven't been a very good blogger lately, but I think I have a pretty decent excuse...
The time has come my friends.... the husband and I are having a babe of our own come November. It was quite the surprise but we are over the moon excited.

I'm rounding out the first trimester and hoping that the grass is a little less green on the other side. Ah ya ya, it's been a tough couple of weeks. I think that Grayson was determined that Satan himself had entered my body and taken over my body, but I think the craziness is almost gone. Let's hope!
Do you want to know the details? (Not those details)
So, we found out super early. I wasn't quite feeling like myself because I was just sore all over and my typical concaveness was feeling exponentially larger. Grayson said "just take a test." I said "There is just no way." Three hours and five test later, we were pretty convinced that the test weren't all wrong. Gray was even contemplating trying one out himself just to see what "negative" looked like.
The next day I called the doctor to see what I supposed to do next. That Wednesday, Gray and I went in to confirm pregnancy. Gray had taken the rest of the afternoon off and we were both so nervous about this appointment. We arrived right on time, I took another pregnancy test, and they told us that we were in fact, pregnant. Officially. Crazy!
We have had our 9 week and 12 week ultrasounds and Baby Cheek is a healthy!
Now that I have much more energy, I'm going to share photos and what may be the longest blog post ever. Bare with me!
This past month has been busy with weddings, work, and moving Salt Harbor to an amazing new space downtown. No one ever told me that I would be narcoleptic during my first trimester. Between working, weddings, and moving, I've done a whole lot of sleeping!
Gray is back to his old ways of taking pictures of everything now that he has a new camera. Here are our knock-out roses. I highly recommend them for those of you that are really good at killing plants; they are fool proof!
This chair isn't quite long enough for Poll's legs so her new thing is cocking it over the arm. We have been bonding in our pjs at 6pm.
I have no idea what gender this baby is, but I do know that he or she will come home from the hospital wearing this adorable moccasins from Freshly Picked. Aren't they the cutest?
The husband and my step-dad dropped our bar 6 inches (it was SO tall!) and put up marble backsplash in our kitchen. The house was a complete wreck for an entire week but it was well worth the wait and the mess!
I couldn't go home for Mother's Day to see my mom, but the husband surprised me with these beauties at work. We then headed down to Ocean Isle Beach for a cookout with my in-laws and hung out by the pool.
Mother's Day night, we went back to Wilmington for another cookout and helped host an "open house" to our vendor friends unveiling our new space, The Atrium. Isn't it amazing? This is the courtyard of our office!
Lottie, owner of Southern Thyme catering, and me chowing down.
Here is the inside of our new space. Millie and Amanda Holloman's mopeds. I want one so bad but don't think it's the best idea now that I have a baby on the way...

After our weekend of cookouts, we had a big week ahead of us. I love planning weddings, but planning a wedding for a family friend has extra pressure. Carey and Austin were married on Bald Head Island this past weekend and not only was I able to help them plan their wedding, I was also a guest.

I know I always show Polly Anna on here, but I can't leave Cooper out. He was put in detention at the vet after a cat got the best of him and is now enrolled in training school, but has been on best behavior since the incident.

Hopefully now that the first trimester is finsihed, I will be a much better blogger. Thanks for all of your support and I can't wait to share this journey with you all!
