Lots of Projects

Hello Darlings. The wallpaper is up and the sconces have been chosen. On to the the next project of the Master Bedroom. Originally, I thought that I knew exactly what we needed. Beautiful wallpaper, iron bed, mirrored side tables. It was an inspiration from Miles Redd but after checking out the pricing for the wallpaper ($165 a roll!), I may just have to have a change of heart. Out searching for a way to pull this off... wish me luck!

Good News Friday

I can honestly say that I have never been actually addicted to anything in my life. Yes, I love my coffee in the morning and red wine at night, but if I had to stop, I could. When Domino magazine announced its last issue this past winter, my palms grew sweaty and my stomach began to churn. No Domino? How could this be? Why do I not get a say in this break-up? The days that my Domino magazine would come in the mail, my husband would place it on our dining room table and leave me be for hours to search through it. After a while, he grew a fan as well, although he knew not to take it out of the plastic before I got home. No matter how bad my day had been, the day that my Domino magazine came in, it could always cheer me up. OK. I had a slight additction.

Well girls and guys, I think this addict may have a relapse. Enter Lonny magazine. Lonny Magazine is in the works for an October 1st release date and is a spin-off of Domino magazine. Rubie Green creator, Michelle Adams, is the person behind the scenes for Lonny Magazine along with dozens of other incredibly talented people.

I can't wait until the magazine debuts. I'm sure it will arrive on my kitchen table along with a big glass of red wine.

Kelly Wearstler Wallpaper

The day is finally here! For years and years, I have been dying over this Kelly Wearstler wallpaper. I first spotted it in a photo in (sigh!) Domino Magazine and instantly fell in love. That was a few years ago, and for my second wedding anniversary, Grayson surprised me with very own wallpaper! After lowering our sconces, finding new sconces, waiting for our wallpaper hanger to recover from cataract surgery, it is finally being installed today!

J. Mendel is Bananas

My best friend was engaged a few weeks ago and is planning a winter wedding. I was crowned Matron of Honor (how old does that sound!?) but would be happy to carry that crown dressed in one of these beauties from J. Mendel's Spring Collection. The colors are so gorgeous and although it is a Spring collection, nothing says winter wedding like an icy blue dress with a fur wrap. I'm totally smitten by these fabulous frocks.

Unique Wedding Invitations

Even if you are more of a traditionalist at heart, these Mr. Boddington's Studio invitations will still pull at your heart stings. They are so unique and give a twist on the classic, old school letterpress with their quirky designs and unique wording. They are designed by a North Carolinian that lives in New York City named Rebecca. She is as sweet as can be and her designs are killer. You can check out more of her fabulous eye candy here.
