How is your Tuesday going?

Bobbles from our favorite socialite

Olivia Palermo, the girl that you hate to love/love to hate from The City on MTV, is back in the spotlight as a new designer for Roberta Freymann. The line is called Roberta Freymann by Olivia Palermo and ranges in price from $175.00 - $300.00.  I am the biggest sucker for collar necklaces and love these that she has designed. So chic!

Office Envy...

Current state of my office, hospital green walls and no art

And so it begins, wedding season is officially here. Sorry for my lack of posting for you little lovelies that follow me. I have 31 weddings between now and June so I have been swamped these past several weeks. Since I will be spending the majority of my time on the island in my office, I have decided to take action and create a meetig/working/creative zone for myself and my brides. Right this moment, my office is a lovely shade of hospital green. Gross. I have a limited budget and big ideas. These are a few things that I am hoping to create...

Storage
Office: Tobi Fairly from Tobi Fairly Designs

Look at all of that storage! In a sea of papers, pencils, diagrams, folders, and lists, she brings all in with a cheery color palette and makes it work.

A small sitting area
Office: Erika from Urban Grace Designs

I love how her office is relaxed but still pulled together. She has a great mix of style, two desk, an inspiration board, and a sofa for her and clients to relax .

Color
Hopefully the hospital green walls will fade away to a bright white. I want to hang loads of wedding art from former clients and frame notes that I have recieved from brides over the past two years.

A revolving inspiration board
This cork board is exactly what I need. Instead of having random post it notes on my computer and phone, this board would be a "catch all" while still looking polished.

Happy Monday!

When I Grow Up...

I want to be Todd Fiscus
but not a gay man.

That's what I learned in San Francisco at the Wedding 360 conference. Don't judge. If you met him, you would want to be him too. He is all out fabulous, and in the most adorable way. He owns a company in Dallas called Todd Events. He is so smart, so chic, so put together, you would hate him if you didn't love him. You can check out more about him here, but today, I'm going to share a little peek inside of his house. Again, don't judge. You know you want to see it!

I told you so. This house doesn't so much match his personality, but I think that is the beauty is this. When he was speaking at the conference, he was "on stage," playing the part of the uber event designer/planner. I'm sure his office is bright and crisp. Wouldn't it be great to go home to a place like this that is totally different than the normal? What a difference that would make!

Happy Monday

Trailer Park Chic

So, I'm from the South, and with that come associations with not so glamorous things. Grown men wearing overalls (swear to gawd I saw it yesterday in the Atlanta airport), pick-up trucks, fried chicken (yum), and trailer parks. I've been changing my tune of hatred towards trailer park lately. Why, you ask? Trailer parks are back and in a chic, sophisticated way. Don't roll your eyes, don't you dare. How much fun would it be to park this cute little trailer by the beach, grill out with friends, and sit under the awning in Kelly Wearstler style chairs? Add a swing painted pink and your in business. My general idea of camping in the second floor of the Holiday Inn, but I could "rough" it in this beauty.

Cupcake Kits

I think I may have to buy all of these little cupcake kits from one of my favorite paperies, Meri Meri. They have so many different themes and would be adorable for a kid's birthday party or even a baby shower.

The robots and mermaids are my favorites! What about you?

I Like Bikes

If Spring doesn't come soon, I'm going to loose it. In the mean time, I've been doing a little research  on "Spring" things; like gardening, and cleaning (ok, I lie), and bikes. In my research, I have stumbled across some pretty chic bikes. I think you will agree...

Our friends over at Chanel made a spiffy little bike for us to ride around town
Fendi has a rustic quality that the husband would look handsome on
Hermes did the same. I'd like a touch of orange on this one

I'm not exactly in the  market to spend a few thousand on a bike. I"m more of the Wal-mart Huffy price range. Here are a few cuties that are more along those guidelines...

A fun, bright color

A straw basket and a cute puppy!
A little KWID love to match a kelly green bike

Gorgeous

Brides: What a cute way to leave your reception!

Happy Monday!

I Adore...

this house. It's bananas. Designed and owned by the incredible Elizabeth Kimberly, I think you will agree that this is drool worthy.

Look at all of those windows! And the perfect yard! I mean... obsessed

Don't you love the whimsy of these doors. The black laquer is perfect

I love how modern the lighting is with the sheepskin rug and the light floors.

Sick

Tile covered wall not in a bathroom or kitchen; brilliant

Hello Stud

You know I love a white kitchen

I spy two Barcelona chairs

Mellow yellow is perfect for a family room

Chic and Cozy "man's cave."
I could live with a dead animal on the wall as long as it looked like this
I would never leave this spot

What a perfect house to have parties and entertain friends. When can I move in??
