Day 17 of Things I Love: Stripes

My love affair with stripes can be borderline obsessive. I have to stop myself when shopping to not buy another striped shirt. You would think that when I was pregnant I would have stopped wearing horizontal stripes. Clearly, I didn't follow that fashion rule. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess!

This Tibi jacket in particular gets my heart rate up. I would wear it with these pants, and these sweet shoes. And look who sported it during New York Fashion Week.

Day 16 of Things I Love: Instagram

I take photos with my phone all the time, but I have just recently started taking them with the app Instagram. Not only do I now have the editing options that Instagram gives me, I can also "follow" people on Instagram and see their photos. I follow my friends, but I also follow Vouge, Alice + Olivia, Lucky Magazine, and a ton of my favorite bloggers. It's so fun to see what everyone is up to through photos. Day 15 of Things I Love: The Top Knot

When you wake up late or just don't feel like washing your hair, the top knot is the way to go. This year was named "the year of the bun" and I couldn't be happier. With a little hair powder, a few bobby pins, and backcombing, you can have a top knot in just a few minutes!

Our first date night post baby I wore a top knot because I didn't have a ton of time to get ready. 

The husband loved it!

Day 14 of Things I Love: Valentine's Day

I'm one of those girls that really does Valentine's Day. Any holiday where the theme is chocolate and flowers is fine by me! This morning I woke up to a table with two bouquets, two cards, and two presents. That sweet husband of mine made sure that Tilley-Gray's first Valentine's Day was special. Does that not just make you melt? 

Another reason that I love Valentine's Day so much is the color palette. I love pink and I love red and on this day (and particularly this fashion season) those two colors are meant to be together. Some of my favorite red and pink moments...

Day 13 of Things I Love: Cocktails

(Forgive me for being a day behind...life just got really busy!)


I sure do love a good cocktail, but it's more than the actual cocktail that I love. 

I love having a bourbon ginger in special Carolina cups at the first football tailgate party of the season. (Obviously, I'm 100 months preg in this photo, so the in-laws parked under the deck to shade me and I was not partaking in the drinks. But this fall, I will be making up for last season!)

I love having a margarita on my first girl's night out talking about how real life just got. 

 I love having a martini in my mother-in-laws gallon size glasses sitting on their back porch looking at the waterway. 

And I love having cocktails after a long week when the husband gets home sitting on our front porch.

Day 12 of Things I Love: Bows

I'm a girly girl through and through so of course, I'm a lover of bows. Sweet Tilley-Gray has a bow in her hair with the exception of bath time and sleeping. Here are a few of my favorite bows.
