Y'all are just the sweetest readers. I get daily emails telling me how much y'all just love Tilley-Gray and my house. I'm not the best at responding to emails, which makes me feel kind of jerky, so I'm going to do a little FAQ today.
I want to see your house! Why don't you do a home tour?
I would LOVE to do a home tour, but (exciting news!) HGTV magazine is coming in the next few months to do an article on my house, so I feel like I need to wait for a house tour until after that goes into publication. I hope y'all understand. It's pretty exciting and nerve racking at the same time. I feel like I need to do a million things to my house before they come, but they like the house like it is so, that's the way I'm keeping it. My husband, and my bank account, appreciate it I'm sure.
Are you still an event planner? Why don't you post your work?
This is such a good question! I've been planning weddings for almost 10 years now and I'm taking a much needed break. This past year I worked with an amazing company, Salt Harbor Designs, and you can see all of the weddings that I coordinated on their blog. I'm a big believer in claiming what's yours. The photos show what the designer and Salt Harbor's amazing team produced and although I was a part of their team, it wouldn't be right to show those images on my blog. I was lucky enough to be a part of all of those events and to coordinate all of the moving parts to some of the most amazing weddings.
I love working and have a big project in the works that I'm really passionate about that I can't wait share!

Where did you get your drapery rods? I've been looking all over for them and can't find them.
I wish I knew! I bought them from an interior designer that has since closed shop. I do know that I paid way too much money for them and I wish that I hadn't. I have seen really similar ones on Restoration Hardware's website on sale. If I see anything like them again, I'll be sure to post them and let you know!
Where did you buy your bar stools?
I found them on GILT (are you a member?) for $60.00 a piece, no lie. They are made by a company called Zuo and are really comfortable!
Where do you buy Tilley-Gray's clothes?
I'm so fortunate that Tilley-Gray is the first grandbaby on both sides, so we haven't had to buy her very many clothes. Baby clothes are so expensive! The grandmother's have taken care of that! Baby Gap, Shrimp & Grits, Janie and Jack, Best Dress Child, Zara Baby, and H&M are my favorite.
Here are some recent photos..
We have been having lots of play time on the floor lately. I used to be so particular about my house, but now old quilts lay on top of my beloved zebra rug and stay there. Things really do change when you have kids but I love it.

Our neighbors own Salt Works 2 restaurant and we have breakfast there almost every Saturday morning.
I told you how obsessed Gray is with the Baby Bjorn. I call this the Goose and Maverick photos.
Tilley-Gray turned 3 months on March 1st. I can't believe it!
Gray and Tilley-Gray watching her first UNC vs Duke game. Thank goodness UNC won.
One of my goals is to be a much better responder to emails, so please email me with any questions!
I really do love your emails and hope this answered them!
xoxo
