Treasure Hunting

Yesterday, Shannon and I went on a little treasure hunt. We found some goods and have added them to our list for clients. There is nothing more thrilling to me than finding a "find."
When I see spaces that inspire me, they are never from big box catalogs or perfectly designed rooms. While we were running in and out of warehouses in the pouring rain yesterday, climbing over furniture and digging through piles, we found some gorgeous things for our clients. It takes time and patience to curate a room, and I can't wait to share what we found!

A few inspiring rooms on my radar these days?

This chest could work in so many different styles.

The modern chairs and the rustic table have a perfect, unexpected balance.

It takes time to put something like this together, but I'm well on my way to my own butler's pantry. It's on my list for my next house.

The abstract art by Cocoa & Hearts makes this room a little less serious.

I'm a sucker for bamboo and love this night stand.

Instead of Marilyn, I found a sketch of one of  my heros, Dolly Parton, yesterday that would look perfect in my office. I like a little humor and Dolly brings it in that department.

  3. I am smitten with all of these rooms! They each have such a perfect eclectic mix of accessories. You are right about the best rooms not being from big box stores. My favorite item in my house is the metal part of a screen door that belonged to a house my great grandfather built 100 years ago. I painted it green and hung it in the guest bathroom.
