Lately

I despise the word "busy" almost more than any other word, because I feel like it's so insincere and unthoughtful, but my days have been filled to the brim and I couldn't feel more blessed.
Everything that I have been hoping and praying for has started to come to fruition and all of these days and months and years of worry and prayer have started to pay off.
I'm blessed with such an amazing business partner and friend who is my perfect balance, an incredible intern who keeps us in check, a supportive husband who doesn't ask when the next pay check is coming, and a circle of family and friends who encourage and root for us over even the smallest of triumphs.

One of our biggest supporters is my Papa, who turned 80 a few weeks ago. He's our biggest fan, and if he could, would be our in house carpenter.

Tilley-Gray turned 9 months last Saturday. She is obsessed with her new tricycle.

Bath time is a fun event every night, especially when Gray is in charge of getting her ready for bed.

I thought that I would be the one to spoil her, but I've been proven wrong. We went out to get her a pair of starter walking shoes, and Gray kept adding to the pile. We were given the "buy five, get one free" card. Trouble.

Shannon and I have partnered with our great friend and real estate savy go-to, Jessica Edwards, on a few adverstisements, including a moving truck.

"Shannon, you're from Texas so you have to drive the truck."

With new projects under way, a big event tomorrow night with Monkee's, and a mobile 9 month old, I have to stop and remind myself how truly blessed I am. Forever I felt like I was on the verge of something about to happen, trying to figure out what it was, and not saying that I do or ever will, but it's feeling pretty good right now.
What is going on (good or bad) in your lives? I know I'm not the only one with good news! I would love to hear!

  1. I am currently in the middle of that months and {hopefully not years!} of worry and prayer and I'm so glad to hear that you're coming out on the other side of it! It makes me, not only happy for you, but hopeful for myself and my girlfriends who are struggling with our quarter life crises.

    Best of luck with everything!
